Department Dossier // O5 Council
The O5 council is the board of directors for the foundation, which means that it oversees the direction and strategies for The Foundation. Each council-member directs one or more of the Foundations departments, and the assignment of a council-member to a department is typically self made. The O5 council meets regularly to discuss internal matters and happenings regarding The Foundation, its operations, and its sites. Any votes cast out by one of the members must be agreed upon unanimously, with any non-unanimous vote being left for The Administrator.
The O5 council is organized such that each council-member gets a say in The Foundations direction. This is done either directly, by influencing the department(s) that they lead, or indirectly through proposing changes that would affect Foundation Sites, other departments, or Foundation operations.
The council is made up of ten councilmen, formatted by the nomenclature, O5-X, where X is their designation. The order of the numbers does not necessarily define importance or status within the council. Instead it defines the chronological history of each member, with O5-1 being the longest standing member, and O5-10 being the newest member.
Each council-member controls a different department within The Foundation. In brief, the breakdown of who is in charge of what is described below:
